Ingredients:

For the chicken marinade:

  • 450 gr of chicken breasts without the bones and the skins, then chopped them into smaller cuts
  • 200 gr plain Greek yoghurt
  • A tablespoon of garam masala
  • A half of lemon, juiced
  • Black pepper and ground ginger

For the tomato sauce:

  • A can of tomato sauce or tomato puree
  • Five cloves of minced garlic
  • 30 gr of garam masala
  • Paprika and turmeric
  • Salt and cayenne
  • 200 gr heavy whipping cream

To serve:

  • Basmati rice or naan
  • Chopped cilantro

Directions:

1First, you need to marinate the chicken. Simply prepare a bowl and mix all of the marinade ingredients in it. Then, put the chicken chunks and coat it evenly with the marinade mixture. After that, you need to put this in a refrigerator for an hour.

2To use the pressure cooker in saute mode, you just have to choose the saute mode over medium heat. When it is already in its heat, put the chicken chunks in it. Also, include the marinade that sticks to the chicken. Then, saute the chicken until all sides are thoroughly cooked. It usually needs to be stirred for around 5 minutes.

3After 5 minutes, you may put other remaining ingredients for the sauce. However, don’t add the whipping cream to it. Next, you need to cover the pressure cooker by locking the lid. Here, you may choose the manual mode and cook the mixture for 10 minutes over high pressure. To release pressure, you may use the release handle of quick steam.

4Next, you need to change the mode into saute mode over low heat. Add the cream in it and stir with other ingredients until they become completely combined. After that, you need to simmer the sauce to make it thickened. It takes several minutes to reach the desired thickness of the sauce.
