Ingredients:

  • 450 gr chicken thighs
  • Salt and black pepper as the seasoning
  • 400 gr peeled tomatoes
  • 30 gr olive oil
  • 200 gr diced onions
  • three cloves of minced garlic
  • ten leaves of Italian basil, finely chopped
  • A teaspoon of brown sugar
  • A tablespoon of chopped Italian parsley as the garnish

Directions:

1First, you need to clean the chicken thighs with water. After that rinse the chicken and dry with a paper towel. Next, you need to give seasoning to the chicken with salt and black pepper. Here, make sure you coat the seasoning into both sides of the chicken thighs.

2Next, you need to prepare the tomato puree. Simply take a food processor and include all of the peeled tomatoes in it. Process for several minutes until the tomatoes become a puree. Also, make sure that the texture of the puree is soft with no remaining clumps in it.

3Then, heat a braiser over high heat. When it reaches the specific heat, put the chicken thighs in it with the skin downside. After that, cook the chicken until both sides of the chicken thighs turn brown. When it is done, remove the chicken thighs from a plate and keep the remaining chicken juice.
